Why do sponsors make their RSS feeds so hard to find?

I've gone through GFY checking for sponsors with RSS feeds, and I have to admit that half of the ones that get listed, I can't find their damn RSS feeds!

Some of them have hosted blogs that you need to go to and grab the rss link generated there. Some of them have them on their link codes page, some on their promo tools page... some on their home page... some I just plain can't find at all.

Sponsors, I know you hear us... because you added them in the first place. But they really do us no use if we can't find them!!

Isn't there some way to make this easier?

I'm sorry, I shall refrain from posting actual biz threads from now on. :arcadefre

They should be right off the main page when you log in. I agree with ya. Don't get frustrated on posting business threads :winkwink:

Should be, but I've found very few that are.

Let's use that list, posted earlier, as an example. I go to jaymancash.com and login and there's a nice little collection of some very handy promo tools right on the main page.
I can't find the RSS.
So I do a search and find in the news where it says:
"Check out Kat's Diary - she updates every day, with a LOT of content. This should do great for you guys - Remember you can use the diary RSS feeds to fit into your own blogs!"

So, I go back to the tools and check out hosted blogs, and click on Kat's. The blog looks alright, but... there's no RSS link/button. None. So I view the source and see some "alternate" links that should load up just fine into an rss reader however, there's no nats code passed.

Now, this is a very long way to go to find the link to the rss feed. Granted, I could maybe get away with linking the blog itself.... however, an rss news reader will not have the NATS cookie stored and since there's no NATS ref code passed... I'll get no sales.

Now, I may have missed stuff, I am not infallible... but it seems to me that this should be much easier.

Adult sponsors don't hire usability consultants like Mainstream does.

Perhaps ask Too Much Media if they would add "RSS Feed" to the adtools section of the affiliate and admin interfaces. That might prod at least a large group of sponsors to make it easier for you.

Indeed, that would be a nice and easy to add feature.

BUMP!

I would also like to add that some of the RSS feeds that I did found sucked.
Take a look at http://www.nubiles.net

That is a great RSS feed. Not just some link to a gallery.

We added it to our Promo Tools without having to contact them. You'll have to log in to get the RSS feeds however.

Let me know if you need any help getting ours.

in our system they are easy to find (and easy to use) at "special tools" :thumbsup If you have questions about our RSS feeds, let me know!

I've also added it for a few sponsors :) You'd think if a sponsor was going to go to the trouble to having that setup they'd integrate it properly.

I was wondering about this too

It's funny that so very few sponsors want to step up and comment.

Kudos to those who have. :thumbsup

We have our feeds available in the Promo Tools, where they can be customized.
