1. The open voting system was to get the GFY members involved. The judges are the ones that were to decide on the tours from the start. So for the guys that voted multiple times, your rating means nothing. Too bad that cheating had to happen in a contest meant to be fun for everyone, but we knew it would happen. This is why there are judges.

2. The preselected judges were not available today and so replacements were asked to fill in. Sorry, shit happens. People have lives. The judges that voted are all responsible unbiased people who voted in an adult manner fairly and without argument. Their votes were cast for their choices, and a point value system assigned to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, and the points totaled up to give a clear order without ties, arguing, or conflicts. End of story.

3. All this bitching and crying is completely pointless. Everyone that participated deserves props. The only cheating I saw take place (outside the multiple voting thing) was one or two people that spammed their site links during the contest, one guy with an email addy on the tour, and one guy that had TWO sites entered. The rest of your speculations, accusations, meanderings, wild thoughts, random dreams, misinterpretations, and whatnot, are totally irrelevant. Read the freakin' rules. They are very clear. No one said you couldn't enter a tour that you were doing as a client tour. No one said you couldn't get paid for the tour. No one said it had to be specific for the contest. No one said it had to be 3 pages, or one page, or green, or any of this shit. No one said any of these things, ever, at any point. This stuff you guys are coming up with is coming from your own minds.

4. On that note, I personally believe this is a HUGE part of what it means to be a designer. I have answered multiple times the same questions, posted links to where it's posted on the site, answered countless ICQs.... all on simple things that have been MORE than covered. If you can't follow the simple instructions for a contest, how are you going to be able to interpret a clients input on an actual job? Hopefully, if nothing else, this has shed some light on your own state of affairs of your biz and how you can improve it.

5. The judges have made their decisions, the contest is over. JPFDude will post the results when he gets the information together. Any further bitching, or accusations, or blah blah fuckin' blabbity blek is to no avail.

6. Congrats to everyone that put in a tour. As someone else said, it takes balls to put your dick in front of the world and have it judged. That's especially true here at GFY as we all know. Thank you to all the designers that played the game.... next year, we obviously need to spell things out a little more to avoid all this confusion. :thumbsup
