Congrats to Xapster and Cam mentioned featured in Wall Street Journal

Not to steal the thunder of Xbiz or Mike From Vivid (they are also mentioned in the article). Thing is you expect Vivid to be in articles. But for a Tgp company in Canada to get mainstream mention, in my opinion, that's huge. Cam and Xapster are good friends of mine and I just wanted to say Congrats on the mention guys. You deserve it! I'm pumped sitting here knowing that you guys got mentioned. NICE!!!!!!

We'll have to celebrate next time i'm in town. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

WiredGuy 07-20-2006 11:38 AM

I wonder if the revenue income is accurate? Maybe they shaved the number a little for tax people in canada

Shap 07-20-2006 12:24 PM

I can't believe how much info was in the article. Alot of numbers in that article and I don't know why every company complied.

I wondered the same thing.. In one way, you want to be like "we made a billion dollars this year" and get owned by the gov, on the other hand, you dont want to be like "we made 41,000 last year" cause then all GFY laughs at you.

Good spikes in traffic nonetheless!!

Doesn't Twisty's do that alone?

Interesting. Back in my pre Bahama days I always reported 100% of what i earned. When we decided to move I made sure my accountant had everything 100% covered so i'd never have to worry (i paid a huge fuckin exit tax LOL). It cost me more money but it is nice to sleep at night knowing no big tax hit lies around the corner.

There's an exit tax?! What kind of percentage is that?

Well I had everything in the company to minimize my yearly tax bill. Since I decided to leave very abruptly it became hefty. To be safe we had to take all the company money and declare it 100% as mine and then liquidate all investments. So all investments, accounts, etc. So there isn't an 'exit' tax. But if you decide to leave and want to do it right you are going to get slammed hard especially if your company holds the majority of your $$$$.

xApster 07-20-2006 05:45 PM

Thanks a lot guys ...

Fris love you to buddy.

That sounds very similiar to my setup. I better not leave Canada in that case!

I'M VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE WSJ

Can you believe that this article was originally focused on hoes.com and it's place in the affiliate marketing world? It was to include a full history of my start in this biz, how things have evolved and where we are today. I gave 90% of the information in the article. Spoke with David 3 times and wasted a ton of energy. I gave him an alias last name because I have a family to protect. They did a background check with the college I went to, it didn't match, so they threw it all out. Not to take anything away from Chris, but I was the one that referred Xapster to him. Let's just say it's the last time I deal with mainstream media. Who the fuck wants their full name, college and town of residence in the WSJ when you are pushing porn? Jesus.

I don't know about the gay stalkers I know he also has the fine sexy lady stalkers. It's impossible to get near WG at a show he's always surrounded by beautiful women.

You know how hard it was to explain blind link traffic trading to the guy? That was a fun half hour on the phone.

But it nice to see my name in the WSJ - makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.
