i saw undercova brotha last night in the theater, and 'Conspiracy Brother' mentioned a conspiracy that The Man implemented the 3 point shot so whitey had a chance, is this true??

Overall the movie was pretty funny, a little too much racial bagging on Whitey though, if White made a movie like that, there'd be riots in all the major cities again.....

When I was still in the Scale business, hired a young black guy as a salesman... One day he comes in with some kind of problem with a customer or something to that effect. After he got through telling all this shit. I looked over at him and said. Well you better get your Black Ass over there and talk to the man.

I thought his chin was going to hit the floor.

Looks like too much of a "black" movie to me, I'm not really into those. I'll pass and check out The Sum of All Fears instead, gotta love Morgan!

I think black people can get away with making the "whitey" jokes because it doesn't really bother white people much.

White people aren't insecure with their race or culture, so when someone makes a joke about white people, its not a big deal.

The double standard will change over the next 50 years,we will all be more equal...can't forget black people were still publicly discriminated against only 40 years ago... Everybody needs to adjust...

The fact is making fun of white or black or pink or blue or any other color isn't going to help calm racial tensions. Slavery was abolished, its over. Just like Vietnam.

anyhow, this is about the movie, and my review on it, nothing more...

Hmm, you all make very valid points... but myself: I liked the movie, it was very imaginative... they came up with all kinds of jokes about the races being fu*king different and sh*t. Some people are so creative.

Maybe I watched a different movie but the one I saw dished out jokes for white and blacks fairly evenly. If you weren't paying attention to the fried chicken chain, or the mayo dilemma, or the dockers and chintz vs. the large afro it's a shame. Black man's kryptonite? Don't tell me that's not anti-black.

Maybe some people don't even see the jokes aimed at their side because they don't see how funny they look to other cultures.

VERY funny movie and very clever and pretty balanced I thought.

As much as I agree with you...I think the real reason most folks have in issue is do to..... having power over another...it is one thing just to kill a person it is quite another to enslave... belittle, and tear hope from and individual and make them feel that way for years...I feel that black folks still cannot get over this...that until they are holding a white man's chain to see how we like they will never feel equal....that is why you see the racism and attitudes towards white folks...not to say that there isn't a fair share on our side as well.

I wouldn't have such a problem with this if each and every, or even a couple, of the black men and women I know were actually slaves at some point or another. In fact, I would be pissed with them. But the reality is, nobody I know was ever a slave, white or black or blue or green.

Using events in the past as an excuse for a behavior or belief is pure bull shit. This "balancing act" we sometimes see is a crock of shit. Repression of your ancestors has little, if any, effect on the lives of the descendants today. People need to stop using it as a skapegoat for their broken homes, single parents, and poverty. This goes for all people.

Yesterday someone told me to "move on", after thinking about it, they were right. I think everyone needs to "move on" at times, this is one of them.
