Password for Word Press lost
 

I lost my password for wordpress and for some reason it wont mail it to my email address. Does anyone know where it is stored on the server so I can check what the new password is?

It would be encoded anyway ...

you can reset it inside PHPMyAdmin

I was ust going to give you step by step instructions for that,,

ok.. good luck

Login to PHPMyAdmin
Choose the proper database from the dropdown menu on the left
Click the browse icon under wp_users
Click the edit icon under user_login the next screen (looks like a little pencil)
Under user_pass change the value to a new password and on the dropdown box on the same line, select MD5

Login to your wordpress admin with the new password and you should be all good

your done!
