i was wondering how much is a site worth if you get over 1k in traffic from SE daily and over 2k search strings monthly? even tho it might be a tgp but still should be a decent amount and also in the top 50k on alexa

SE Traffic is not a solid asset when evaluating a site. You can have tens of thousands of targeted uniques daily which can dry up within 3 months or less due to factors outside your control.
It's great when the going is good, but to invest significantly on a snapshot of one's PR/traffic is not a good idea. In fact, it's the higher ranking sites which are most likely to be subject to jacking/cloaking and (licensed) term theft.Comment
