Camera recommendations please! (feel free to brag as well)
 

looking for a quality digital camera that can also do video clips (with sound). Since I am a girl, of course I want it cute and compact :tongue: BUT still 'quality' is the keyword here. Is there one you can recommend for around $300?... max $500. Thanks in advance for all suggestions!

cute and ultra compact do not provide the image quality due in large part because the lens system is a key component to image quality and small size compact usually cannot provide a lens big enough to let in lots of light to allow a low ISO image.

that said, you have many choices, for best bang for the buck i would look to discontinued models on ebay at low prices.

probably anything canon will give best image/color quality for web work.
