Make more sales by getting beefier sites!

As we all know, these days it?s getting harder and harder to make a buck. While the pie remains the same size, there?s more and more webmasters looking for a slice of it. Sponsors churn out FHG?s like mad, which still get saturated and old in a relatively short amount of time. Surfers see the same galleries on lots of sites and realize that there?s nothing really unique about them, or the sites that list them. Well, you can change that and, obviously, make more money while at it, with a very small amount of time invested.

Ever since the first free sites emerged, be they picposts, TGP?s or linklists, the free site owners that made the most money were the ones that listed their own stuff. Of course, there?s only so much time one can invest in doing the daily tasks, so there were not too many of them around. Most webmasters still concentrated on submissions, while most free site owners still concentrated on building traffic to their free sites. Today, you can easily do both, with just a little bit of help and knowledge. What am I talking about? I?m talking about each TGP owner listing their own galleries, as well as gallery submitters who can build their own TGP.

Listing your own galleries, created on one, or several templates branded to your own site, is sure to benefit you in at least two ways. One of them is that search engine spiders will like your sites much more, since they?ll actually have a lot more content, without being just a one-page link farm. Another way you?ll benefit from this is by having the branded galleries create an even more unique appearance of your site. Remember, by doing so you?ll show your surfers that you?re making an effort to deliver content to them, in your own proprietary packaging, thus contributing to increase their trust towards your site.

?But?, you?ll say, ?creating enough galleries to update a TGP daily would take a HUGE amount of time!? Well, that?s how it used to be, not anymore. See, the successful webmaster has always found a way to work smarter, not harder. Therefore some nifty people sat down and coded Arylia, as an easy way to create galleries on the fly, without having to go through the tedious process of creating each gallery design, selecting each pic, cropping and positioning each thumb and so on. Arylia is a template driven server-side application that will let you create galleries in 30s or less! Just create a template, choose a sponsor and save your reflink and upload some banners for the sponsor. Next choose your content source (it can be an FHG, a directory with pics on your server, or even a zip with pics), press a button, wait 15-20s and voilá! You?ve got yourself a gallery! Repeat 10-20 times with different content sets and you just got yourself enough fresh galleries to update your TGP for the day! Not only that, but the galleries you create can have their big pics residing on their own HTML pages, which give you more ad spots and even deeper site structure for the search engine spiders to munch on. Tinkle with each gallery to adjust a few keywords here and there and the search engine spiders will love them and your site, which they?re being listed on! Still not sure what they?ll look like? Check out www.babeglam.com for an example, all the galleries listed on it are hosted on the same site, have their big pics on HTML pages and each took less than a minute to generate with Arylia! And if you?re not sure how easy working with this application would be, check out the demo on www.arylia.com or the video tutorials! See, work smarter, not harder. :winkwink:

Fantastic post. Thinking out of the box.

Tom_PM 07-18-2006 09:11 AM

I remember when that software came out I let the author know that aquiring images from sponsor FHG's in many cases will be a copyright violation.

FHG=free hosted gallery of course. Hosted not only for convenience, but because in many (most?) cases, there is no content license for use on other domains but the sponsors own.

So, while I love helpful tools as much or more than the next guy, just do yourself a favor and check with your sponsor(s) before aquiring FHG images
and hosting them yourself.

Agreed there, good point. I was considering putting that in the initial article, but since it already got long enough to put GFY to sleep, I figured someone would mention it along the line, and you did. :winkwink:

Nobody did :) The software has that capability is all I was saying. Just a friendly comment to keep affiliates out of any potential hot water.

Arylia does have the ability of ripping sponsor FHG's. Since many do shoot their own unique content, this is a very good option to have. Of course, there's still a ton of sponsors around who use non-exclusive content, which they aren't licensed to let affiliates use, so it's a good idea to check with your sponsor before ripping their FHG's.

nice info

fris 07-18-2006 09:20 AM

i like the template system, so if you have gallery designs, you can just select each for each site. very handy

Yeah, create the template once, save and re-use as many times over and over again. I can't believe this thing didn't come out sooner, I've been wanting one since 2000 LOL.

Right, sorry! I'm so used to negativity on this board, I misunderstood your post.

I'm not reading all that.
Post cliff notes of what your software can do.

Boo-hoo, I'm so gonna cry! :1orglaugh

It's not my software. Do yourself a favour and learn how to read threads other than "would you hit it" and you might make an extra buck. :)

the pie is not the same size. the pie is getting bigger everyday yo!

arock10 07-18-2006 01:39 PM

Arylia is a great program. I've been using it for months, have five copies, and make lots of galleries everyday with it. I'd be lost without it.

i disagree. the overall "pie" may be getting larger (# of surfers) but the number of surfers that are likely to actually PAY for porn is staying the same or shrinking.

blazi 07-18-2006 03:37 PM

great thread DamageX, some good points for sure!

this is such a kick ass piece of software that I made the video tutorials for it. I was passing along the good word to a friend about how to use it and decided to make my movies generic enough that everyone could use them. This is an awesome tool, created by some cool developers who only made it to HELP other webmasters. Anyone calling this post spam needs to realize value when they see it.

Agent 488 07-19-2006 12:13 AM

yep it rocks - paid for itself many times over - just don't the scammers 'round gfy find out about it. :winkwink:

Jamie 07-19-2006 12:30 AM

Add the ability to handle Video files, and we might have something.

That would put movie gallery makers/submitters out of business. :Graucho

Of course if the American webmasters do this then they are shitheads because the Russian webmasters don't give a fuck and even if the sponsor canceled the account they just open another as a different person...

Hmm... Nope... porn companies definately make more sales now than they ever did before. I have worked for many sponsors over the years and I have seen many of them go from 500 sales/rebills a day to over 2000 sales/rebills a day.

At the same time though the number of surfers becoming webmasters is staggering... It all doesn't matter much though... I don't really give a shit about someone who scrapes $1K a month doing some hard assed work... I care about smart people who can do little to no work and make $20K a month... those people will eventually cut into my bottom line... But then again, it doesn't matter because I am constantly evolving too.

You should have known better...most kids don't want threads about business but rather "would you hit it" or "drama drama"..

Either way nice looking app, Web 2.0 app for adult webmasters :p

Interesting tool. While this without a doubt can increase sales, it can also increase your bandwidth bills x50, if you only list your own galleries on a high traffic TGP.

Sorry if this has been metioned in the thread, havent had a look.

The lease price I would imagine is monthly, correct? Is there any option to buy after lease?

Thanks

I suppose you can always lease it for a month to try it out, then buy it. Would be the smartest thing to do, if you were unsure.
