I scratched the heel of my foot while at the show. It was very superficial and didn't even bleed so I thought nothing of it. Afterwards I went in the petree dish of a pool that the hotel runs. My foot started to swell a bit the next day and get a little stiff - I figured I just drunkenly twisted my ankle. However it became very tender, swelled worse and wose, and became a deep shade of red. I ended up leaving the show a day early because of it. I went to the emergency room yesterday and found out I had Cellulitis in my foot because of this scratch becoming infected in the pool.

Cellulitis (sel-u-LI-tis) is a potentially serious bacterial infection of your skin. Cellulitis appears as a swollen, red area of skin that feels hot and tender, and it may spread rapidly. Left untreated, the spreading bacterial infection may rapidly turn into a life-threatening condition.

So i ended up in the ER for 6 hours being pumped with antibiotics and painkillers through an IV.

Choloronate your pool fuckers.

nah, that pool wasnt very chlorinated @ ask anyone that was there. there were people puking in it the day after we left and it was publically open for the weekend

i wonder if it got infected the day we saw the terd floating around the pool. that was funny...sort of .....anyways after finding this out im sorry to have pushed u so hard to stay another day. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek get better soon xoxo

I realized after getting home from my last show that I had changed my health insurance from international to just within central america without buying any addon... scary thought to be hospitalized from a swimming pool infection :helpme

It wasnt an open wound - it was literally a scratch.

there were pics of people underwater posted and the water is quite murky. not surprised.
