Loryn: Fred just had the crap scared out of him
 

Poor birdie.

I had his cage out on the back porch since it has been so hot here. It got dark, and since he was quiet, I wasn't paying a lot of attention to him.

All of a sudder I heard his wings flapping like nobody's business. I turned on the porch light and saw a possum scurry off to the corner of the yard.

I think Fred is appreciative of that heavy duty cage now. :1orglaugh

That happens from time to time with my bird as well. It is usually more with the movement of a broom, or something like that. She is not scared of cats, and will bitch out our dogs for messing with her. But if you pick up a broom too fast, she will freak out. Strange animals.

Loryn is currently on medical leave having another operation on her foot. She won't be around for the rest of the week.
