Trying omp or any of a handful of other places I would think would bring you better luck. But good luck either way.

Dont knock it, there are a few photographers, including myself, that do mainstream published work. Maybe you should take a closer look at the 'porn board' you're accually a part of.

how does being a freelance photographer work exactly? would you know that I am in Atlanta, and any time you had a job in Atlanta you would call me and have me shoot it?

or would you fly me and my wife to exotic locations all over the globe and pay for everything while we spend 2 hours one day shooting some trees?

I still think he's looking in the wrong place. That's not to say that mainstream photographers can't shoot porn or porn photographers can't shoot mainstream. But I've yet to meet one that does both well. If he's looking for something commercial he's not going to want to be doing an ohhhh face. :-)
