Adult Domains
I am selling my entire 120+ domain portfolio. My brokerage business partner and I have decided to part ways and we are selling off our brokerage's holdings. This posting corresponds to the auction of the 20+ adult names in our portfolio. There is a link at the bottom to the sales post with the non-adult names in the appropriate forum.

All the domains are being sold via a one week sealed-bid, first-price auction running from July 14th through July 24th.

Sealed-bid auction: bidders send in their bid via e-mail, and the bids remain confidential until the end of the auction. At the end of the auction the winners are contacted and asked to submit payment at their bid for the domains they have won.

Domain winners are the bidders who submit the highest bid for a certain domain.

The only exception is if there is a tie in the bid amount, in which case the tying bidders are asked to resubmit their bids within 48 hours of the auction end.

If there is yet again a tie they are asked to resubmit their bids within another 48 hours.

This continues until there is a high bidder and no tying bids or three tied rounds of bidding, whichever comes first. After three tying rounds, the winner is decided randomly among the tying bids.

I reserve the right to end an auction early and sell to the highest bidder at that point, for example, if the domain is approaching expiration or end of the grace period.

Auction Rules:
1. Bids are to be sent by email to [email protected]. DO NOT send bids by PM.

2. The minimum bid is $10 for non-adult domains, $5 for adult domains

3. If there is a tie in the highest bid for a domain, all parties involved will be asked to resubmit their bids within 48 hours. They may keep their bid at the same amount or raise their bids.

4. Bids are binding. If you will not have enough money to cover your bids next week, DO NOT BID.

5. The auction ends July 24th, 2006 at 11:59 PM PST. A PayPal email invoice will be sent to the winning bidders asking for payment for all the domains they have won.

6. Payment is accepted ONLY via PayPal. No other method works for this many domains. The only exception will be made for large bids (over $1,000). In this case, escrow.com may be used at the buyer's discretion, with fees split between us and the buyer.

7. Payment must be received within 48 hours of notification of winning an auction. Otherwise the domain will be sold to the second highest bidder and I will make notice of the nonpayment on the forum listing.

8. I reserve the right to remove bids which I feel are fraudulent.

9. Once you have sent in your bid, post a message saying "Check your email for bids"

NOTE: Some domains in the list may be in their grace period. These domains have already been pushed to individual holding accounts so that you may renew them after submitting payment for your bid

Domains , low cost domains , bargain domains , inexpensive domains , domain auction , this is a one week domain auction starting at $10 , cheap domains

You sold all of that for low-mid x,xxx when you had one domain making that alone yearly?

Yes, we did. Our reasoning is: Traffic was decaying and we had set a 10 day timeframe for the auction. We had only one other mid $x,xxx bid.

The trouble of auctioning all 100 domains and the time we would spend would definitely outweigh any additional gain we could make by selling the domains individually.

The buyer offered to pay immediately via PayPal. The other bids were not so firm.
