Anyone else excited about Clerks2?
 

We are super psyched and can't wait. Who else is counting down the hours to what is sure to be Kevin Smith's next big cult classic?

i don't think it's going to be a cult classic, i think it's going to be a mainstream mess fueled by the mass media of hollywood

Kevin smith himself is displeased with the movie.

I thought the original was over hyped and there's no way something can be a cult classic before it even comes out. :2 cents:

The first Clerks is awesome. I liked that dialogue regarding Star Wars and the Death Star. Hilarious.

I liked Clerks and Clerks the Animated Series? with that said, Clerks 2 is going to bomb completely. It will be remembered by fans as the biggest piece of shit since Superman IV.

Have you read his blog post about how he met Jason and the whole story up to him getting clean and sober? Its called Me and My Shadow and is about 9 parts long and a lot to read but is a really great Kevin Smith style story.

looks great, sure it probably won't be the 'classic' the first one and a lot of people will say it sucked just to say it sucked because a 'true fan' would say it sucked but fuck that. just enjoy it for what it is, a fucking movie. ass to mouth! ha.

I'm really psyched about it. I've been a K. Smith fan for years and have a Buddy Christ on my desk, where it's been reassuring me of the ludicrous nature of organized religion since I bought it the day Dogma came out.
