lol - damn Americans - always got to be hotter and bigger! :1orglaugh

Sarah_Jayne 07-16-2006 02:55 AM

yes folks but we don't get these tempatures and most places here don't have air conditioning. So, imagine Vegas without anywhere having ac.

Anyway..36 c is 102 - that isn't hot most places?

Sarah_Jayne 07-16-2006 02:58 AM

okay I am an idiot..read the humidty as the temp..just woke up but that is dumb. Was about to take myself to sit in a dark room all day.

Yeah, 91 isn't hot for a lot of places but it is here. Air Conditioning will have to start to become more affordable here soon.

Its really funny that Al Roker reads and forecast weather fronts and still manages to sell his B=B=Q grilling skills on the side.....i guess this means the Real Global warming is creeping around the four corners of the both north and south polls...

Its true - I have lived in the tropics and London 33c is way different from 33c anywhere else in the world.

Think Singapore on a bad day without AC. :Oh crap

Sarah_Jayne 07-16-2006 03:11 AM

Central London is hell when it is this hot. Just walking on the streets is horrible even without being inside a building. The buildings really trap in the heat and then if you are on the tube...well try not to passout.

Yngwie 07-16-2006 05:35 AM

39C is 102.2F

36C is 98.6F

Sarah_Jayne 07-16-2006 05:46 AM

Yeah, my cheat way of doing it has always been double it and add 30. Not spot on but was my easy mental cheat when I moved from an F country to a C country.

That is getting on the hot side for sure
we have it around 33C to 36C, now that doesn't seem like it is hot to some of you
but when you factor in the humidity it feels like 42C
and with our winters at -35C, the summer at 35C, to me it seems just a little too hot.
I would not be able to handle those 106F temps, I would melt :upsidedow

The day I had the Chloroseptic (sp) it hurt to swallow food, that helped. Today my voice isn't as raspy but it is deeper than normal.

I am trying to avoid talking to anyone.

It was a combo of the trying to talk over loud music, dry heat, and blasting A/C that did it. I haven't felt ill at all, although there was a lot of coughing.

CamsLord 07-16-2006 06:19 PM

it was like 101F degrees today
