See that all the time. The boat has to float off the trailer... You don't want to drop an outdrive/prop on rock etc.

Ya creates extra pressure. The backpressure from the exaust not going out as much as it needs makes the valves be under more stress. Unlikely to cause a problem unless you do it all the time. :winkwink:

That's good to know because I do it all the time. In fact, every morning I tell Belinda I'm driving down to my favorite trail to take a walk (trying to lose weight) when in fact I really head out to the lake and back my truck down so I can watch it blow bubbles. :)
