TRAILER GALLERIES - a business issue for PROGRAM OWNERS! *questionably gay pics*
 

I HAVE A FUCKING SUGGESTION FOR SPONSORS IN THIS FUCKING INDUSTRY:

we- your fucking affiliates- need TRAILER GALLERIES... PLEAAAASSE! I AM BEGGING!

NOT photo galleries because they are boring...

NOT movie fucking galleries where there are 4 clips that each need to be downloaded separately by the surfer and where each is FAR TOO SHORT TO CONVEY ANY OF THE EXCITEMENT on the site!

start making fucking HOSTED TRAILER "GALLERIES": one hosted "gallery" page with ONE FUCKING TRAILER in it and some nice decoration around... the gallery plays the fucking trailer, that's all! If the surfer wants more he goes to the site!

by the fucking way, a trailer is at least a fucking minute long... it doesn't have to be much longer, but it's not fucking 20sec or 30sec... m'kay?

Now BANGBROS and TCG have the best fucking trailers in the fucking business... But I don't want to fucking have to DECORATE them on a page! Put them on a page for me that looks all nice and shit so I can send surfer to said page and not have to worry about getting fucking credit! (That credit issue is another whole fucking thing, 'cuz I can dowload, host and link to the .wmv or .mpg/.avi trailer but then surfer is going to see the fucking site name like BANGBROS.COM through the whole fucking trailer and type the mother fucker in!)

On a completely separate note (but not really- I just needed a reason for a pic so I could put *pic* on the thread title so someone will actually look at this):

Would you categorize a surfer as "gay" if I they strap-on sex like this? Assume that the girl is not a tranny and the sets involves the guy and the girl kissing and sometimes fucking. If not "gay" how would you describe the surfer who likes this?

hmm... from a video editor's point of view, here is my comment :

If you want trailers, ask for the full length vids and hire an editor to do them for you. For anything half way decent, you'll have to go through a guy like me and pay 200-300$ for your trailer. There aren't that many editors out there that can put together decent trailers, so this is no easy task. Bottom line : GOOD trailers are hard to have made and can cost quite a penny... something that not all Programs can afford. So if you want them, take the initiative and have them made.

sure, that's possible, BUT:

1. pretty soon most larger programs are going to start doing promo trailers ANYWAY because they'll need them to stay competetive...

2. many programs already do them (TCG, BangBros, and- very effectively- the little sleepy BrothersInCash).

SO:

--> IF you are going to make trailers, make hosted trailer galleries so your affiliates can easily promote them!

--> If you are not making trailers you should think about doing so!

BTW- I just found that BangBros does in fact do what I want! They have hosted trailer pages!!! (And they are fantastic!!!) Take a look at this link I am promoting right now to see what I mean- see how the "watch this trailer now" text is so prominent! Awesome promo material!

No disputing that. I do too. But it really has nothing to do with the issue I am trying to address.

I am thinking of the future- including new projects I am starting- and how nice it would be to really effectively reach those surfers who WANT trailers. I think the whole experience of watching a trailer is so much more effective than watching small vids from a video clip gallery.
