Im not sure - Israel havnt exactly been holding back - why not be upfront about this as well?
The rhetoric is swinging away from Lebanon to Iran and Syria though - Im looking at flights to NZ just in case. |
And the Pentagon is considering "evacuating" Americans in Lebanon. Historically, that has been Pentagon-speak for getting boots on the ground (Grenada).

Lieberman: Damascus must realize it will pay price Israel Our Home Chairman Avigdor Lieberman told Ynet, If we will have to act against (Syrian President Bashar) Assad we will, without aerial acrobatics. It will always be a messy situation there until the haves and have nots get more in sync.

this is gonna be a long and bloody fight
mark my words Previous Israeli governments were led by experienced Military war trained leaders (Rabin, Barak, Sharon) that knew first hand the destructive nature of a military conflict. They all tried to make peace and spare its younger generations of wars and military conflicts. Current leadership in Israel has none of that. They'll be more ruthless in a need to prove themselves and will not spare much to achieve Israel's goals. |
Can someone tell me what is a valid reason for striking Lebanon's Power stations and fuel depots ?
I can understand all the other targets and they all have a good reason, but why power stations ?? |

The U.S. needs to keep their mouth shut, and out of this. Let the Isreali's handle it. If the U.S. gets in on this with the Isreali's, then you can expect all hell to break loose. :disgust |
