Im not so concerned about how well the geo works as its not a very recent database, more concerned with if it works or not..

was verrry slow to load, accuracy was fine, I'm using FF fyi...

the speed could just be my ISP sucking today

see above post , its on a slow server i know this . its just a test server , speed is not essential .. do you have the latest version of firefox ? . If you have an older version and just happen to upgrade ( there are exploits in the old version of firefox ) let me know if the new version makes it play properly :)

Worked great, TD. Using IE inside the AvantBrowser shell. Avant breaks a lot of things.. looks good :)

does not work in IE. And it gives the city of where my ISP is located but not my location.

im not sure if you read the thread , but just to clarify incase you missed it.. i'm not worried about how well the geo-ip works its an old database i wont be using anyways , the test is to see if you see the flash properly :)

if thats the address your isp used to lease that ip block then yup your ip is in another state , its not uncommon :) there are other ways but i believe thats how this database was created ..

Most GeoAds only get me wrong by about a 30 minute drive, and a few get me exactly right. This is only the 2nd one I have seen that gives me this particular out-of-state result.
