Remember Geoworks?
 

At one time, they were competitive with Microsoft for PC platform software.... well, they sorta were.

I actually used a computer with a Geoworks OS for awhile at an old job. Crazy shit....

Now they do mostly software for mobile devices.

I used to work for Geoworks about five or so years ago. Out of Alameda California, there office was bad ass, foosball, basketball courts, table tennis. It was fun :)
while i was there they were working on software for nokia phones or some shit.. wasn't too into tech shit while i was there but that is what they were doing. i put together press releases ands shit like that.

Yeah... I know this really hot girl that used to work at Geoworks. Not sure what she's up to now. Probably selling porn or something. Hehe

Yeah I used to live with this girl who used to work for Geoworks...I used to run around the house naked to freak her out...

Geoworks was alot better than Windows but by the time they came out with it..... Windows was way toooo big...

I use to set people up with it.... I mean some real dumber than dumb people on computers.... I forgot, brings back old memory's.

It used to be fast on almost no hardware at all. But it was a really small market.

I do remember it being a speedy OS....

wow, yeah, I had it on my blisteringly fast XT turbo, all 12 Mhz of it :)
I really liked it. Gosh, major flashbacks...anyone remember the time when Ripterm was cool because it had icons?
