The ISP I'm working for is now offering 30Mb connections via fiber for $100 per month. I'm getting my box installed in like 6 months - year.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.. :D

rofl... lucky fucker. We have one choice here: DSL, DSL, and more shitty dsl. It goes out everytime it rains for fuck sake. It's supposedly a 1.5mbit line, I get like 70-75KBps on a good day lmao

Because the the line has to be setup in the street, it takes years to hook up the whole city of Reykjavik, less than 1% of the population here in Iceland has this service installed.

Coming soon on this service is interactive TV and VoIP.

I have 15mb/2mb and it is pretty kickass... They just dropped the price of 30mb/5mb so I might switch... though 15mb/2mb is pretty much all you need.
