Apparently his latest single, which is very well done, won't be on his latest album.
It's a parody of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful"... James Blunt himself said he was allowed to do it, but then his lable stepped in at the last minute and said no.

So Weird Al said "fine, I won't put it on the album" and then released it online for free in mp3!!

He said that if the artist didn't want him to, he would have just scrapped it, but since it's just a bunch of suits being snobs... he has no problem letting people grab it for free.

That song was great, i think of it every time I hear the word "spuds," that was on a greatest hit album "I lost on Jeopardy" and "Fat."

His next album (which supposedly got pushed back because of the mess over "you're pitiful") will have a video for each song done by John Kricfalusi, creator of Ren and Stimpy. Can't wait!

He was popular when I was in high school. Haven't heard anything since the late 90's

was a big fan when i was a kid listening to dr demento. "just eat it".

I've been a Weird Al fan since I was a kid.

I remember listening to Dr Demento in the late 70's/ealry 80's. Yeah before Eat It there was Yoda. Non Weird Al songs from Dr Demento; Bras On 45, Dead Puppies, Fish Heads ( the video of which was directed a by pre-famous Bill Paxton that was even before his bit part in Pat Bentar's "Shadows of the Night" video)

Now thats going back to 6th and 7th grade for me there lol. Im a big fan of his. So creative. Lets see 6th grade for me was in 87? 86 maybe. Long time fan anyways lol.
