Determining the worth of your sites
 

Does anyone have good information on how to determine the worth of ones internet sites. For example if I was going to sell WebmasterVault.com (which i'm not) how would It's worth be determined.

I remember someone saying 6-months of profit is best to determin a selling price.

very very tricky for tax purposes in the UK apparently its best to take the smallest value.

There was a thread on gfy about this not long ago and the general idea was with websites its 3 months income.

cost to remake the site, plus the present value of 6 months of profits at your required rate of return.
