Michael Carroll UK Lottery Winner almost out of CASH

What a fucking degenerate C-U-N-T  :1orglaugh

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006320361,00.html

LOTTO slob Michael Carroll has taken out a MORTGAGE after blowing his fortune.

The lout, who won £9.7million in 2002, has borrowed £130,000.

The loan was granted by Bristol and West Mortgages on Carroll?s home in Downham Market, Norfolk.

His £245,000 pad is registered in the name of his aunt Kelly Muncaster, 34, and the loan is also in her name.

He is seeking a SECOND mortgage of £120,000 on another home, saying he will invest the dosh in property.

But pals of the ex-binman fear he will blow the loan on cars, booze and drugs.

He has a third property but estranged wife Sandra Aiken, 24, wants a cut of any sale as part of a divorce deal.

Carroll, 23, has lost £80,000 on a Dubai property deal.

He gave £4million of his winnings away and put the same sum into a bond ? now worthless due to withdrawals.

I think I have some continous lottery going, it's like 30cents a week.. boofuckinghoo if I don't win for 60 years. I lose what, 216 euros..hah.. I actually won 56 euros last week.. I should hope I break even in the next 60 or so years.

Sosa 07-13-2006 12:15 PM

heh what a douche

Mr. Romance 07-13-2006 12:17 PM

I used to be in the "cash flow business" we would buy out USA lottery winners future payments for a lump sum of cash...most of them sold there future payments because they were broke..its not what you make, its what you ultimately spend and save:2 cents:

In addition to being scum he could be the poster boy for chavdom.

kane 07-13-2006 12:37 PM

this seems like a pretty common thing. I read an article awhile back where a guy that won a huge amount in a lottery had 600K in cash stolen out of his car. Who the hell carries around 600K in cash and leaves it in their car? He also ran through a lot of this. I think that the people that take the lump sum payouts see this huge amount and they think it will never run out so they spend like crazy then a couple of years later they are out of cash.

On a sadder note. I used to work with a guy that told me about a co-worker of his. one day the guy didn't show up for work. They called him and he didn't answer the phone or return calls. For three days they don't hear anything from him or about him. Then he shows up and tells them the reason he didn't come in was that he won the lottery. He had a new car and was buying a new house and took everyone he worked with out to lunch. They were all happy for him and little bit jealous. then a few weeks later they found out that he had killed himself. It seems he had not won the lottery, but had convinced himself that he had. he bought all this stuff he could now not afford and was so depressed over having not won that he killed himself.

Alex 07-13-2006 12:43 PM

Cant say i feel bad for him.

I bet you feel really cool that you "know him personally"

How much money did you dwindle out of him, like the rest of his family and friends.

Manowar 07-13-2006 01:30 PM

damn, 10 million in less years than the number of mill

Tdog 07-13-2006 03:21 PM

The guy is 23, you cant expect him to know what to do with all that cash.

When I was 23, if I got that money, I would have blow it all in Vegas over one weekend.

1/3 of Lottery winners go Bankrupt.

The advertising plan for Ohio?s SuperLotto game stated that lottery promotions should be timed to coincide with the receipt of "Government benefits, payroll and Social Security payments."

The lowest-income group of Texans, who earn only 2% of the state?s total income, provide 10% of the lottery?s revenue.

Regardless of when or where the lottery operated, the growth of all education spending declined by half once a state put a lottery into effect.

What is wrong with so many people on this board? Every time there is the smallest excuse to sneer at someone, away we go. Do you think that even if you are right, and someone else really has been foolish or whatever, that somehow makes you a better person? Get a life...

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 07-13-2006 03:58 PM

if i wan 10mil i'd invest atleast 6mil in stocks and shit, not on stupid stuff like the pet rock, but in things that just keep growing, google, amazon, places that are taking a turn for the better...

then i'd live off the other 4 mil, till that 6mil matured to be alot more, repeate the process

Scott McD 07-13-2006 04:03 PM

He's a fucking asshat, and should be locked-up in jail.

And he's a bitter hun so fuck him. :321GFY

Only he could win so much and yet end up skint already... :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Vitasoy 07-13-2006 04:11 PM

People who instantly get too much much money, get overwhelmed.

RayBonga 07-13-2006 04:24 PM

People that play the lottery alot normally are pretty bad at managing their money (that's why the spend much of their income in something were the odds are totally against them).

Getting alot of money just makes their money problems bigger.

I think most his neighbours, and everyone else who has had property damaged because of this asshat will disagree.

What he does with his own money is up to him. But when he and his pals decide to go on the rampage wasting what other people have worked hard for, that just makes him worthless scum... :2 cents:

some of my best friends are like him without the cash.

there was a documentry on him not so long ago, which just showed a completely differant side to him.

They claimed that he bought 5 jaguers and smashed them up in his garden. that is total bullshit. he bought them from the used car lot

At the opening of google it was the right time to invest. When the shares were arround 100 bucks... it can only go downhill for a while now.

Hey I'll give him credit for doing that charity boxing match against Rhino - he took some serious hits. :)

Why has he been in court so many times ?
Was that all false allegations aswell ??

You're right, i don't know him. And i know the papers have a great chance to make a story from a young multi-million lottery winner, especially one like him, but to be fair, he didn't do himself many favours in changing peoples opinions of him in recent documentaries which have been screened... :2 cents:

scottybuzz 07-13-2006 06:00 PM

ok fair point there.

but like i say where i come from people like him dont really know life any different. they grow up, get into petty crime. have a shit job and live for the weekends doing alcohol, drugs etc.

and when your a cult figure the police are fucktards to you. mostly hes in court for drugs, because hes such a police target.

who would the police rather go after? some punk who does drugs whos just a lowlife scum.
or a high profile target?

as for the criminal damage, when your with mates like his of course your going to do stupid things. dont tell me in the spur of the moment you have done something stupid. and most likley you will have got away with it.

but if peoplle see carrol do it, they will remember him. it kind of sticks in your mind when you see "a celebrity" do something bad.

Ok i wont say hes golden, yeh hes got a record, but not half as bad as the papers make him out to be and around here, lots of people like him have a lot lot worse recordsl
