    Can dreamhost get any worst?

    I know it cost penies to use them but shit is like geocities.. I use them for my personal things and now I really feel bad for you fools that use them for any of your project.. Vent out...

      Some idiots here were actually recommending Dreamhost for paysites - tho they all had the usual whoring affiliate urls - so prob don't count.

          it's obviously not a host you can rely on but I've never had problems in 1+ year on personal (my parents mainly) websites ... only couple hours of downtime.

          you have to wait 5 hours average to get an answer from the support thought.

                  I use them for a couple of personal sites but wouldnt use them for a paysite.. Only problems i've ever had is a little downtime here and there and the occasional e-mail problems. Supposedly they've fixed the problems with e-mail going down and I haven't had my e-mail go out in a few months so it must be somewhat true.

                                  lol, never had problems with them, the past 30 days I've been listed on the Hun like 4 times

                                  I don't use their email though, or have wny sites that run scripts etc, simple picture and movie hosting - no problems whatsoever

                                                                  yea but for what you pay you cant complain, dreamhost does suck if you are expecting it to be problem free. I have them just for a few sites as a cheap way to free up some resources on my dedicated. My only beef w/ ds is their stats tracking sucks balls. like who doenst use awstats?

                                                                      Dreamhost pretty much falls in the "you get what you pay for"...just look at the deals they offer and you almost have to expect things to go wrong with them. I mean it might be okay for some projects, but you'd have to be nuts to use it for TGP/Freesites or anything that can get you blacklisted.
