US Lost in Iraq?
It seems more and more like civil war is immenent.
When Americans want their troops to come home, Rumsfeld says more troops must be deployed in Bagdad. Congressman and Governors up for re-election in November must be ####ting bricks. And then there is Iran, North Korea, ambivalent Europe, pissed off Russia ("Chaney talks as well as he shoots," Putin), uncooperative China. An impotent Blair in Britain. Massive federal budget deficits, massive trade deficits, hugs debt to China and Japan, outsourcing of the middle class, and very high oil prices. I felt safer in the cold war of the 1970's. |
The civil war has already started and we lost because there was no way on earth we could win.

the people have a right to bare arms incase they need to overthrow their government, but guns arnt enough anymore :(

Bush said yesterday that the economy is fine... the newsbite will soothe the flock...
The true flockers say that the bad economy was set in motion by Bill Clinton. |
Yes, USA lost in Iraq.. There is nothing new here, anyway... USA lost one year ago in Iraq. They are just making propaganda now and trying to save time and invade another country to save their economy.
There are no magic formulas here. Bush Gov sucked from the first moment in terms of economy, and they won't recover. They will never recover. USA gov is in currently in bankrupt. I always ask myself if the avergae north american knows this? Did you know this? Iraq is another Viednam. Good luck. |
I guess the question is: does anyone really ever win in War?

Civil war would be a victory for those who planned this war. The neo-cons want instability in that region. They want the country to split up.
A united Iraq will demand the withdrawal of US troops and control of their oil. The neo-cons are hoping the country will fall into civil war, so the different sects, namely Kurds and Sunnis, will need US troops to stay long term. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the Bush administration thinks of winning this war in terms of bringing troops home or stopping US casualties. It's all there in black and white in the neo-con playbook. |
U.S. lost the second Bush was elected president.
