Is PURPLE WEED stronger than others?
 

I've always wondered this, is it just the appearance that makes it seem cool? I haven't had a chance to smoke any yet... just wondering :)

seems the color isnt really the determining factor. Rather, the brightness of the color.

Its better..But not that much different.

Personal experience? Not really...

It is like saying a certain wine is worth $1000 a bottle even though it tastes like a $29.99 bottle...

It is just a way to say... Now you have to pay $180 an ounce because this is Blueberry mated with purple kush... Enjoy my expensive hybrid and it is better than anything else.. so there!

you can make any weed purple by bringing down the temperature rapidly during the last 2 weeks of budding. Some varieties just have it all the time.

I would say as a whole compared to all other color types as a whole it is better , but that theory doesnt hold water on an individual basis. ( i.e. there are way better green types than purple types, ) but on the other hand i have never smoked "bad" purple weed , and i have smoked plenty of "bad" green weed so...

may be seeds are available.

p.s. if you want some purple bud and you grow your own , try this.. a few days before your ready to crop take a few branches off ( with buds on them obviously ) and put them in a flower vase filled with water in your fridge for the last couple days 3-5

This is correct. Weed will turn purple in cold temperatures toward the end of it's cycle. Some strains are more prone to this than others.

It just happens most of those strains happen to be pretty good. :stoned

But just because it's purple doesn't make it better than any green bud. As a matter of fact it may be worse because it's a little overripe and the THC may have started to convert to CBD.

good tip , this is also true, but hard to tell from the consumers point. ( i.e. you cant tell if its naturally purple or purple because its overripe /ran too late in the season )

Some good advice is to get a good jewlers eye glass and look at the resin glands closely. if they are all burst ( or very oblong and droopy ) you have left the weed to long..

I just found some shots I took of some old weed I had...Half purple, half green (broken up of course) but I remember the shit being amazing! Wish I could still get that around here. All I can get now is middies and regular beasters. :( :(

Nothing special around these parts anymore...You'd think all the rich kids around here would want the best but guess not :(
