Anyone use vonage?
 

I am looking at useing there service . Curious to get some feedback from those who are useing them. Let me know what pros and cons you can see :thumbsup

Cant say I have used vonage, I use broadvoice and its about 98% good.

Im happy with it, used for 3 years now

I use Vonage and love it. But I use skype on my notebook when traveling.

The product is great. The service sucks ass. :2 cents:

Dont really have any issues, only thing that sucks is when your inet dies out so does your phone...

I have been using vonage with softphone for about three weeks, works great so far.

I had vonage for a year..personally i did not like them becasue of the hardware issues.. You need an external router...i now have www.skype.com . I have there skype out service which includes a phone number and voice mail. You just buy skype minutes and when you get low buy more. Plus you do not need an external router. I have 2 of there phones and they just plug into your usb..

We use vonage, and have noticed that we get a lot of static on some calls. Nit sure why. They have raised thier price on countries outside the plan, and that sucks. But over all they are pretty good.

Also take a look at lingo. if you decide to use them, hit me up, I would love the ref sale.

I have Vonage and i really like it. Especially now i get free calls to the UK, and Ireland in my plan which helps me to keep in touch with my family :)

But sometimes there is static on the line, and when the internet goes down obviously the phone will too

I've got it and i cant really tell a difference from it then when i had a BrightHouse broadband phone , except it's a bit cheaper.

2 months now and no issues

I have it set up so that if the broadband goes down Vonage forwards it to my cell.

I haven't had any problems with it. :)

9 Vonage lines here for a year and no issues.....ok wait...their customer services sucks ass, but we've only needed them once for an issue with an 800 line, so otherwise it's great!

VOIP is DEFFINITELY the way to go. However there are better companies than Vonage out there for sure. :2 cents:
