How much have you lost in the hands of internet scammers?
I would have to say around 10k$
may it be ebay scams, people running away with money, bad hosting deals, etc what about you? |
almost the same so far. only clients who "forgot" to pay :(

$0 so far. However I once bought a website that required me to send a wire for $1.5k to Moscow.. Needless to say I was a bit nervous about it, but it all worked out in the end.

Over 15k. Mostly from ibill and other billers and programs. Some scammers walking away with cash.

Hmm... A BBW camgirl with a coke habit stole $1100 from me 6 months ago. I was supposed to buy my wedding rings with that. My own fault really, for being so gullible.

Never had hosting or other scams, but since starting on the net side - somewhere is excess of $300K. This is almost 100% sponsors, and where a fair number have since disappeared, but the names of individuals pop up occasionally and their names are already on the "blacklist" :) Tho never been scammed or had bad debts recently - it's a matter of being fussy who ya deal with. |

everytime I get scammed I hunt them down and fuck them up.
Important to have specific info before sending cash so if anything arises you can find them quick. :) |

I lost $19.95 but am awaiting my $3.25 Million share of Ms. Ngumba Bamboozles deceased husband's (ex chief of Finance - Gamba) stolen bank account as soon as she wires it to me.

Over $20k from iBill...Gary Spaniak is a scam artist who should rot in jail and burn in hell along with his other slimy cohorts.
Other than that I've been pretty fortunate, since I only lost lesser amounts a few times to designers that didn't produce and models that didn't repay me. Only iBill really pisses me off, because with personal loans/advances to people I realize there is a calculated risk. In the case of iBill, I earned that money, they collected it, and then ripped me off by not forwarding my share to me per our contract. If anybody has Gary Spaniak's direct phone number (home or work) or hos home address, that would be much appreciated. ADG Webmaster |
