WASHINGTON - A Homeland Security database of national monuments, chemical plants and other structures vulnerable to terror attacks is too faulty to accurately help divide federal funds to states and cities, according to the department?s internal watchdog.

Much of the study by Homeland Security Inspector General Richard Skinner appears to have been completed before the department announced in May it would cut security grants to New York and Washington by 40 percent this year.

But the report, which was released Tuesday, affirmed the fury of those two cities ? the two targets of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks ? which claimed the department did not accurately assess their risks.

The first thing Americans need to learn is that your chances of being struck by lightning are greater than you or anyone you know being involved in a terror attack.

After you accept this you quickly realize that the current government is all about fear mongering and the news shows are just out for ratings.

In the past 20 years about 3500 Americans have died in terror attacks around the world. In that same period how many Americans died in DUI related car accidents? Drug overdoses? Caught in drive by shootings?

Terrorism should mean very little to the average American. VERY FEW peoples lives were litterly effected by 9-11. When you woke up on 9-12 your day was the same as it was on 9-10. 9-11 did nothing to you. That is a FACT.
