I own a red nosed pit bull and shes just a lil princess.... as long as you are not on the outside of her fence. I have 2 small children and shes awesome with them. They pull her tail/ears/collar and she just licks them. I think these dogs just like Rotties get a bad rap from bad owners. Across the street from me a neighbor has 2 red nosed pit bulls who are very mean and jump a 6ft brick wall to attack people walking by. Do you blame a child instead of the parent when the child has no manners or behaves badly? Raise your kids AND your dogs right and you have nothing to worry about.

ofcourse proper training makes a huge difference but fact is: these dogs were bred to fight and kill so its not a smart and responsible thing to ignore that fact as an owner and pretend youre the owner of a black labrador or something.

I wouldn't have pitbulls with kids... too dangerous. They are awesome and smart dogs but for adults only. Anybody exposing their kids to a pittbull is wreckless...

I must agree. I have 2. One here with me in south florida and one that lives with my folks back in NY. I love animals and would never put them in harms way. I mean, If you teach a human from day 1 to fight and kill, it will do so as well

Uhm, you know you can not leave ANY dog alone with lil children do you? Even when they are sooooooo nice and cute? Dogs are animals, not humans, simple as that....

Besides that, pitbulls are breeded for fighting...And even, when he is cute etc...WHEN he bites, he bites good...That is also a BIG difference. Many dogs, may/can bite, but when they do, the problems are not that big....However when your dog bites......
