I have been hosted since December by my host. Every single month except for last month they screw the billing up in one way or another.

They usually E-mail out the billing invoice around the 1st of each month and you are to have your bill payed by the 5th. I have not received an invoice for this month. I have E-mailed them at least twice and maybe three times about this matter. I have copies of the E-mails.

They set up voice mail two or three months ago and I left a message, but have not been called back. Today is the 6th and I fear they will shut me down for non payment.

Anyone have any suggestions, other than change hosts?

I have a virtual account and for the amount of storage and bandwidth the price cannot be beat. Their billing sucks and support is slow but I still do not want to change hosts.

Change hosts. A bad dawg doesn't change his habits.

Never hurts to contact the hosts directly when your looking and tell them what you need and what your paying now; you'd be suprised at how many of them will cut you a deal.

The connection with hosting company is one of the most important things for me, i would never bee with a host who don't have good support, and specially no with hosting where i need to be afraid if they will shut me down in any minutes...:2 cents:

Time to shop around.
You'll be pleasantly surprised by the standard others operate under.

I just checked out ISPrime's page. For five dollars more per month I have two and one half times the bandwidth and seven and one half times the storgage.

Outside of the billing department not getting their act together and support being on the slow side I am contented with the the service for the price.

I am concerned about not receiving a bill, at all for this month. I will E-mail them again today. To billing, to sales, and turn in a trouble ticket.

I am sure that this problem will be worked out, but it is possible, because of lack of communication, my site may be temporarily shut down. I do not know how many people they have employed but whoever works in billing needs to be replaced.

This wouldn't happen to be fiercehost would it? These guys took over 10 days to fix my php, they ignore or blatately laugh at your problems when you contact them on ICQ(when they are actually on) and the servers are slow as hell. I fucking hate these cogent resellers.

The reason it wasn't fixed is cause you would never give us the problem, all you said was you was having problems with php. Your php checked ok, nothing wrong. Once you came forward and said you wanted the safemode turned off, it was fixed almost 3 hours afterwards. After just getting an icq from you, your domain problem was being fixed. It's not my fault you didn't follow instructions and submit a trouble tickit for it to be added to the dns. Theny ou icq me cussing, and everything else. So I tell you that it's not even going to be fixed if I keep getting cussed at?

supposedly with Rackshack. I buy traffic from
him. He told me that when an account is behind
on payments, he sells their traffic until they
pay him what they owe. Since he was selling me
traffic from so many different doamins, I made
a java refresh page for him to send all the
traffic to. That page in turn redirects to my
main page. I do this to track the
productivity. All the hits on that java page
fiercehost gets paid for. So in reality, this
guy hacked your sites, stole your traffic, and
then sold it to me. I had no idea he was doing
this as he was sending it all to my java page.
All I cared about until now was the quality of
the traffic. I have already contacted the FBI
and a few attorneys. The FBI says you guys
need to file a report first. And all the
attorneys I talked to wants to go after
Fiercehost and Rackshack. They will all take
the case with no retainer. So if you want to
be a pussy and not do anything about this,
then go fuck yourself. Else do something about
it now. Don't think you can be added as a
plaintiff to the civil case later if you do
not report this to the FBI now.

THAT'S TOTAL B.S. AND YOU KNOW IT

I was the one that researched my own PHP problem after waiting for 5 days for you pricks. I found that you had a PHP SAFE MODE ON. It's a simple line in the config file that you couldn't figure out. I had to show you how to do it and you still couldn't figure it out. That was just sad. For people that would like to see the FULL ICQ log of this(I won't cut it up like anthony here) check it out here:

These guys also couldn't figure out how to setup my multiple domains. I submit 4 "trouble tickets" for my new domains, as you can see from the ICQ logs, he is just blatantly lying about that. After pointing the names at their servers, this guy actually couldn't figure out how to set up accounts for me to access them. I waited over a WEEK for a decent response. In most cases I was simply ignored for DAYS.

It's only after waiting for a ridiculous amount of time that I decided to cuss at him. And Boy was it FUN!

This was the worst experience with a host I have ever had in my life. Coming from mainstream I knew it would be a little sketchy, but jeeesssusss.

Anyone considering these guys think twice, and then, think again.


Well I learned my lesson with cheap bandwidth. Time to move on!

Sure enough. Shut me down for non-payment. I got the problem corrected on the same day of the shut down, and had to make a double payment, which was not a problem.

I E-mailed them a half dozen times or more telling them that I had not been billed.

They have a new billing system in place, I will learn how well it works come next month.

Don't come back bitching in a month if your account gets shut down again. You get what you pay for. Seriously, why are you risking severe downtime for a couple of bucks?

Billing has been the primary problem. As for down time; since this board has been online I have seen Webmasters complain about virtually every host there is and among the complaints is down time.
