Google adwords - Who has a solution?

Who has a solution for the new problem with google adwords.
Alot of keywords went off line and it costs you $10/click in most cases to get it back online. Who has a solution for this problem? Willing to pay for a good and fast solution.

i just sent an email to my rep, i hope she will explain me that problem

SR 07-12-2006 04:17 AM

I got a reply from mine.
They want more relevant landing pages which is nearly impossible if you have 1000's of keywords. They gave this link to explain it
https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/siteguidelines.html

Adwords reps are worst in the galaxy. Epassporte phone support is heaven compared to them...

It seems to only affect adult advertisers, my mainstream campaigns are still intact

Actually, I thought I was the only one with this problem, but it's nice to hear that I'm not that special :)

I thought it helped to raise my cpc to the required amount of 5 dollar, and to decrease it in the morning. When I woke up I had a bill of 41k :(

sacX 07-12-2006 04:50 AM

haven't got the problem hope the roll out is done..

Has anybody seen results when combining different landing pages to different keywords within an ad group?

SR 07-12-2006 08:15 AM

Not yet but it could help.
The google rep said the content had to be original for every page.
The problem is that when you change your pages it can take weeks for the high bid to go down. Atleast that's what the guy told me.
Even for my review sites alot of keywords went up to $10 while all pages are 100% unique. I guess they want alot of text or so.

That totally bites dude. My thing would be to check out competitive ads for those keywords. You could use that as a guide for your discussions with them. I got a competitor's ad removed like that once because an actual person saw it not the bot ;-) And hopefully your price will go down too when the otehr guys drop out.

Staying on top of this is hard work :(

SHGB 07-12-2006 08:39 AM

we are all screwed!!

a campaign that made me $300 a day went off line yesterday!
I was using around 50 keywords and ALL of them got $5-$10 minimum PPC.

First I thought it must be a system error, contacted support and got that basic explanation blah blah blab

:Oh crap

edit: my feelings are in my sig

RF Simon 07-12-2006 08:52 AM

What's even weirder is that even though it says $1.00 to activate, I still get a few clicks at the price I want to pay. :error

Adultlexicon 07-12-2006 09:12 AM

Whoever introduced this new rule for google needs to get shot in the face, what a total idiots. Almost all my campaigns are offline now. i run a couple of good review sites with honest reviews and even the keyword "**** site reviews" doesnt apply to my site what a load of crap.

they will loose alot of money on this i already noticed some keywords without any ads!

thanks google for killing everything i worked on for a long time

Me too, lol. Not many, but I still get impressions and a few clicks to "inactive" keywords. I figured a search partner was slow getting updates or something.

Hit me up - wondering if what we worked on can be tweaked as a solution :) Can't find you on my list anymore :(

I have a friend who's a PPC consultant and does very very good work in google/overture. hit me on icq and i'll pass his information to you.

Welcome to the new Adwords.:winkwink:

bdld 07-12-2006 11:29 AM

their goal is to show less ads for more money. its going to really thin the herd, the average affiliate is getting the boot.
