If all Israel has to whine about is two soldiers while they are in the middle of a military offensive in Gaza which has involved air strikes and killings of civilians - including kids in a playground and while 9000 Palestinians remain incarcerated in Israeli jails - hell, it's a piss in the ocean.

Kill 1000 Hezbollah members for every kidnapped soldier. See how often they kidnap soldiers after that.

"Kidnapping soldiers" in the middle of an offensive is already an international incident. Ususally they get killed with they go to war - lucky they were just "kidnapped".

i have friends in israel who are drafted in, and certainly don't care for their government's choice of offensives.. but they'd rather go support their infantry (they're in IT) than be sent to military prison.

most of the people who get kidnapped are seemingly in support roles, not front line grunts.

Frankly, I'd have more concern/sympathy for the kids in Palestine who were blown to shit by Israeli air attacks. They never had the option of being "kidnapped".

Anyway, the reason Israel are in Gaza in the first place is because a soldier of theirs was kidnapped.

The two newest soldiers to be kidnapped were not kidnapped in Gaza. They were kidnapped by Hezbollah terrorists from Lebanon who attacked northern Israel.

Israel does not target civilians. 'Palestinian' terrorists routinely hide behind children, which is in fact a warcrime.

Palestinians are in Israeli jails because of crimes commited; Israel didn't just jail them on a whim.

I don't know if I would define 19 year old soldiers as kids. Most western countries, voluntary or not, have 18-19 year old soldiers.

I doubt they will be capable. America will fall eventually, new super powers are already rising. Jews have been clever up until this point to sure up support, but it has been telling throughout history that they have equally been as cocky of their own base that they did not fear anything happening to them. Maybe for the next hundred years Israel will be untouchable, maybe for 300, but as with everything it is open to change. And with an enemy as committed as it is to wiping you off the map (even those Arab states that claim otherwise) it will happen in time.
