Free Advice! My SEO tip for you! We need more business like threads!

The serious business like threads are often difficult to find when sifting through the garbage.

Here is my tip to you all (for those that do not already know).

Would you like to have your site/domain indexed by google BEFORE you launch?

of course you would.. who wouldn't.

Let's say you have a bunch of domains you haven't developed yet..

for each of those domains, make a simple coming soon page with a few keywords for the planned site.. let's use gfy as an example site for illustration purposes..

On your page you would use something like

"Go Fuck Yourself coming soon"
"An Adult Webmasters Message Board" "Where the Adult Industry Meets"

see, now you have keywords in place "Adult", "Webmasters" "Message Board" "Adult Industy" "Adult Webmasters"

Now, you want the meta for SE to recrawl every 30 days, or 45, or even longer if you just intend on sitting on the domain for a long time,,,

Next step.. on one of your sites that is already indexed put up a link to your domain that has the coming soon page.. (Has to be domain root, ie: index.htm)
Make sure that domain also has the recrawl meta in place,,

On the next crawl, the spider will follow link to the coming soon page & index it, so then when you do put a site up on that domain, it will already be indexed.. :)

later, when you know you are going to shortly launch a site on that domain, go to the coming soon page & change the recrawl meta to a much shorter duration.. like 7 days.. to make sure it respiders alot sooner so it will update with the launched sites info..

Hope this tip has been useful to you......

now, feel free to choose another sponsor :)

Good tip!
A small article with keyword rich content would work evern better!

yeah but you didn't even mention why it's good to have your site indexed as soon as possible, a lot of newbies don't know this... most would read your post and think, "Oh, that's good, then uhm, people will be able to find me in the search engines once I launch!". ehh.

standard rule = age rules all. you have an established website in an established industry (hence placing the few keywords on the main page), then you will be that much closer to ranking for competitive words, particularly in google as they place huge weight on age.

and if you're smart then you'll think of something else to bypass the whole age problem. buy expired domains with relevent backlinks in the industry you're targetting. :winkwink:

that's why you put it at the bottom somewhere, and put a javascripy history back link on the coming soon page
