7-11 Attacks in India

Holy shit I just realized that todays date is 7-11 that is kinda weird since we joke so much about the 711 stores being run by indians. Im sure its just a freak coincidence.

my heart goes out to all the people who were injured over there.

QuaWee 07-11-2006 05:12 PM

yea, it's really sad. however, must people won't care because it didn't occur in the us or europe

SetTheWorldonFire 07-11-2006 05:21 PM

E$_manager 07-11-2006 07:31 PM

this si just coincidence. Don't take it in your mind.

scottybuzz 07-11-2006 07:40 PM

to be ohnest, i feel kinda wierd, when 9/11 madrid bombings and 7/7 occured i felt really worried and scared, yet this, i feel it normal, because of all the trouble that occurs in hot-war zone places. Does anybody else have similar feelings?

Bladewire 07-11-2006 08:54 PM

It's a tragedy when innocent people and their children die

My heart goes out to them

Waveu6410 07-11-2006 08:58 PM

Uncalled for, theres nothing "awesome" about innocent people getting killed for no reason.

PussyTeenies 07-11-2006 10:20 PM

it sucks :(

last year I was in India for work.. and 30 minutes AFTER i left the marketplace i bought some stuff a bomb went off.. 20 dead and a lot of ppl injured.
Glad I'm home now ;)

StickyGreen 07-11-2006 10:22 PM

it's weird cuz last night once the date changed i noticed it was 7-11 and thought "hmm maybe some crazy attack will happen today?"

Mpegmaster 07-11-2006 11:15 PM

Well......PAKISTAN gives shelter to all the terrorists and sends them over to India and still US supports pakistan all the while........

It won't be long before......India loses its temper and sends a few nukes Pakistan's way

Not in the UK. Loads of coverage but mostly because of the strong connections with India and because of how many people here would have family there.

If ever there was a mishmash of messing by a nation which is not even on the same continent as India or Pakistan - this is it.

Ironic that the US has now "accepted" Pakistan's nuclear program, tho there is always good reason. (Read, we can make a profit here and we have 50 ulterior reasons). So out go the sales pitches to do some arms trading with Pakistan and sell them a load of shit - including 50 F-16 fighter planes from the US. This may of course start causing more concern in India as well... but, again, there is always good reason for a snake to take a certain path.

As you may know, India has plans for a major pipeline project that would take gas to India from Iran via Pakistan. (Pipelines have always been a major concern of the US) There is now pressure from the US to persuade India to simply give up it's plans. (Read, we prefer to build pipelines and make sure they end up where we want them.)

As a teaser to India, Bush has now proposed assistance with India's nuclear program. Ironic again, since India is one of only three countries that has refused to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and progressed onwards to develop and test nuclear weapons - a subject frowned upon by the US (tho they have more nukes than anyone at enormous cost to the taxpayer)

Overall... the generosity/forgiveness/recognition (read, "we say what you like to hear today") by the US admin is awesome when there is a "need" for something :)

There is a saying Mpegmaster, "Be wary who you sleep with - it can have decades of consquences" :)

Not a lot - especially if it involves others being killed.

Dirty Dane 07-12-2006 02:56 AM

After Western countries has tightened the security, we will see more terrorism in countries that do not have the ressources. Especially civilian targets in Asia and Africa. And they can't help wounded fast and good enough.
