What size pics in the member area?

What resolution (size) should the pics be in any member's area I might build someday?

Chris1sMe 07-11-2006 02:02 PM

CamsLord 07-11-2006 02:02 PM

HighSociety 07-11-2006 02:03 PM

Big_Red 07-11-2006 02:06 PM

1024 by 680. and the highest resolution your pocket can stand. :thumbsup

Methodcash Rick 07-11-2006 02:06 PM

The bigger the better

1280 x * / * x 1280 works well for us, all depends on how much BW you want to burn. :)

Doctor Dre 07-11-2006 02:08 PM

Bigger the better allthought offering 2 options (800x 600 and 1280) is def the best ;0

chase 07-11-2006 02:12 PM

I use 1024x768

woj 07-11-2006 02:13 PM

I don't know jack about dpi, but if you use the save for web option on photoshop it gets your pics way smaller then that (file size), and if the default isn't good enough quality, you can adjust it.

teenillustrated 07-11-2006 08:25 PM

screen res is 96dpi for mac 72dpi for pc anything more is a waste. set everything to 72dpi 1024 on the long side bare min.

minusonebit 07-11-2006 08:28 PM

Options are the best...

I think 800 x 600 is the most common.
