My LA parking tickets go into litigation tomorrow -- do I pay the assfucks!?
 

nothing makes me more angry than old fucking parking tickets -- $246 and their notice says they will charge me court costs on top of what I owe them -- are they bluffing? They've been sending me the damn notices for months... I talked to one guy that claims they finally catch up with you -- but I'm tempted to hold out for the fight... What should I do? I only have hours left to pay them...

I have two parking tickets totaling $243 !!! Fucking shithole Los Angeles... one of the worst places to own a car.

Depends sometimes you can win in court cases and go home without paying anything and someitmes you loose

LA wanted $200+ to update my tags -- I move to Florida and the shit costs me ONLY $18 !!!!! You do the math -- they are thieves!

Dont Pay it if its on your credit already...

when i lived in at the Beach I got $1,500...in tickets for parking outside my beach house my tire was barley in the red!...they took my car 67 chevy nova..and i never paid them till i bought my first house.

they still havent removed the tickets off my credit i have 2 more years to go untill they all drop!....my credit is fucked because they wont remove them, they dont even say paid.


If i could do it again i would not them pay and wait the 7 years

Yeah I get 40$ parking tickets all the time for parking on the wrong side of the road here too... fucking La blows gorilla dong.

I'm not sure how credit ratings work down there but it's better to pay them off and just have them on your credit record as late payments then if they were to write them off and give you an R7 rating which will pretty much fuck you good unless you have large sums of liquid assests. Thats my :2 cents:

You should be happy that they are only charging you $40 for that. Technically you could be cited for driving on the wrong side of the street, which would be a lot more than a parking ticket.

If a traffic cop cited you, they would not even bother with the parking citation, you can not park on the wrong side without driving in the wrong lane..

Fly, pay, or they will not let you register your care the next year, or renew your license. Your choice.

When I moved out of LA I had quite a few parking tickets and one seatbealt ticket - that I got after saying hello to a officer next to me! Asshole. - I totally forgot about them since I was moving back to New York.

They suspended my license in LA. I had to wait 2 years beore I could drive in LA legally. Of course I could have just paid but I don't live there so why!?
