Couple of questions..

What's the best file format?

What programs are good to convert, break files down etc.

How many movies/total mb's per gallery?

Best file format: MPEG
Best mpeg editor: iFilmEdit
Amount of movies per gallery: 4-6 (depending upon size)
Size of MPEGs: 400-600kb
(make 5 second clips)

Sorry son, but I must correct you. Those are the best rules (sans the encoder) if you are submitting to the mainstream TGP's such as the Hun. If you are submitting to MGP's make sure your movies are:

1. DiVX
2. Encoded in DiVX low-motion (400kbit) via virtualdub
3. 1MB each at the very least.
4. 1-3 movies per gallery.

Anything under these requirements would most likely get you blacklisted.

I guess it depends on which MGP or TGP your posting movie galleries on. I only buy my listings and this works best for me for my paid listings....

some say no less than 5 movies, some say no less than 1mb per movie, some say this, some say that....

The majority of MPG's want big (1MB+) movies.
