htaccess question
I want to be able to make any destination goto a url
so if someone requests http://www.blah.com/fasdf/sdafa/sfsa.html(or any other extension) it will goto http://www.blah.com/index.html And I want to do it without putting a htaccess in every folder I just cant find where to do it...I know there is something I should be searching for I just need pointed in the right direction. thanks guys |

Google querey ".httaccess redirect"

I guess a quick solution would be to make the target page your 404 page.
ErrorDocument 404 http://www.site.com/page.html |

put that in your root folder and it will be used in every folder under it. |
yea I read up on the redirect code...but it told me to put /directory/file.file goes to /file i want the first variable to be a wild card...so it will do it no matter what the directory is... maybe im missing it in here..ill keep reading up on it
