Reporting spam....

One of the advantages of being an adult webmaster, is that we can report spam so easily and knock out other stupid webmaster who think they can do some easy cash by sending junk email to our boxes... :1orglaugh

I love reporting asshole spammers. :1orglaugh

Also, most affiliate programs colaborate with us when we report their afiliates.

Only a few programs never answered till now. I hope they answer soon... :winkwink:

I know there is plenty of spammers in GFY, so take care guys, the anti-spam polizei is here. ;)

scottybuzz 07-10-2006 11:23 AM

There are a few programs where reporting spam seems to go into a bottomless pit, not to mention any names ...

You should spend your time bringing yourself up, rather than putting effort into bringing others down.

You could spend your whole life reporting spammers and the day you die, you'd realize you didnt even make the tiniest of a difference and just wasted all that time and effort, when it could have been spent much more productively.

In general, yes. But if you get tons of spam from same spammer every day, and reporting it take less time than dealing with the spam, then its worth reporting it.

I wish the threads about getting porn spam after signing up with popular affilate programs were bumped more often...

I'd say 99% of my porn spam comes from there.

Welcome in 2006, its how mailling work.

[Program Owner] Hey, we got a few complaints today
[Affiliate] Ha those complainers, they waste their time like usual
[Program Owner] You new affiliate ID is 12345
[Program Owner] We switched all signups/hits to this new account.
[Affiliate] Ok, well done like usual.
[Program Owner] If we get to much complaints again, we will spread your mailling over a few affiliates ID, and order more domains on the BP server.
[Affiliate] Ok, perfect
[Program Owner] Btw, thanks you for your business, your ratio rock
[Program Owner] We plan to give you a volume bonus

i am scratching my head here....forgive me i know little

is it spam when a programme owner like us e-mails our own affiliates with stuff ?

Sounds scary...

What do you think about this, yourself?

Would you do the same as the program owner? or would you close the affiliate down? (if you were a program owner)

And what do other guys think?

I think I will soon start reporting programs who don't colaborate with us. :)

Maybe that's the only way to fuck these motherfuckers who are playing with us. I have nothing to lose and all to gain. They have all to lose and nothing to gain. :pimp

No.

I am talking about webmasters (cheaters) who are promoting a sponsor, using the spam method. (sending millions of e-mails (and promoting the sponsor sites) to people who have never requested those shitty porn e-mails.

CamsLord 07-10-2006 02:24 PM

spam is yummmy

Seriously? i dont fucking care , i use spam filters or press delete like everyone.

For me, my spam folder in outlook is a good source of info on what the trends are in mainstream , and what is working atm. It save a lot of hours in research.
