Italy deserved to win the world cup because...
 

they won all their games and won the final.

Yeah, but they didn't have to face (and upset) Brazil.

no France did it then they beat France hence they won.

they played 1-1 with USA
and they got easier teams to beat... yeah,they deserved it:disgust

they still won, they beat Germany, France (who had beaten Brazil) and a few others. If Brazil were so good why didnt they slaughter France then piss on Italy?

they didn't deserve it, there was a lot of luck involved... and bad referee decisions...

They were undefeated. Bad referee calls aside, they played a better and more stable football throughout the tournament, which is much more than can be said about France. France should thank their lucky star that the last game in the group wasn't against a tougher team.

They won, they deserved it and the proof is in who's holding the cup. Bad ref decisions were for and against them. If they didn't meet Brazil it's cuz Brazil failed to make it. I honestly thought Brazil, with all their amazing players & fancy footwork would have glided through the WC but they didn't. (was quite disappointed too cuz I love watching the footwork)

There is a logic to that. However, congrats aside there is some logic as well that if they didn't get away with so much diving they wouldn't have won their games. Still, good on them.
