Do you pay upfront for your custom photo/video shoots?

I would not but you cant blame someone for trying to get paid upfront.

50% upfront to cover costs is a minimum. Just shoot it yourself then you pay out everything and control it. There are loads of decent content companies with great reps that you can trust if you cant shoot it yourself.

Quashe used to charge 50% upfront for design so why not for content?

50% upfront 50% on delivery. Unless it's someone I've had a long working relationship with.

That's how I do it always when ordering custom/exclusive content 50% upfront and the other 50% at delivery if the content producer wants 100% I dont bother with him..
