Well, I think those robbers learned their lesson. Next time, maybe they'll be smart enough to bring a gun along so they dont have to duke it out like that.

Robbers in the UK very rarely use guns. just having one in your possession gets you a 2 year jail sentance regardless of why you have it. Use one in a robbery and you are doing 10-15 years minimum.

When bank employees realized he was deaf, they were able to talk during the attempted robbery, which made it easy for them to stall the would-be robber until the cops arrived. The failed bank robber sued the bank for disability discrimination. I guess it failed to accommodate his deafness. This case is pending.....
