DVD Copy software? whats good and working?

I've been using DVD Shrink + Nero for 2 years and now almost every movie I try to copy gets DVD structure error and other stuff. Is it protection or what? I don't think it is because its retail DVD that I paid for and need to make copies to play in my car.. any tips on whats good?
