Is it cool to like soccer now or what?

Six months ago I never even heard the word soccer in a one month period, now all of a sudden everyone is a die hard soccer fan. Crazy how everyone follows trends.

Soccer is for those who can't play any real sport like curling, or tiddly winks.

There is a difference between following trends and developping a new passion...

First time I've watched football was in 98 when France won agaisn't Brazil. Every euro / worldcup, I watch it...

Vitasoy 07-10-2006 01:10 AM

World cup fever.. only ever 4 years

Double L 07-10-2006 01:15 AM

In the US soccer will be forgotten again in about a week.

I wonder how many Americans even watched a game. I watched about 10 mins worth.

Those were too hardcore for me. I played my whole life until the end of high school. My team was 8th in the state. I've watched the world cup live when it was in the USA, I've watched it in 5 or 6 different european countries with europeans flipping the fuck out and it was a blast. IMO mexicans are the most fun to watch with as they are fucking crazy about it. I've never seen more fights in my life than i have in London in 2002. I only wish I still played, but that is going to change again soon(after i get back into some sort of shape).

MontrealPimp 07-10-2006 01:21 AM

What I wanna know is, why don't we all follow World Cup Bowling?
