Anyone going to Laguna Seca for the MotoGP motorcycle races? (Red Bull US Grand Prix)

Alysha and I will be in Monterey, CA from July 19-24 for the races. Is anyone else into motorcycle racing and going to be there?

I'm not going to make it this year. Went last year, and it was an absolute blast.

If you're not staying at the track, plan on lots of time getting to and from your hotel. Traffic is nutso busy that weekend.

We are staying on Cannery Row in Monterey, but since we'll be three hours behind, we should have no problem leaving the hotel by 7AM (since it'll feel like 10 AM to us). The redid the parking this year, so everyone in cars is parking offsite at the University north of the track. We have preferred parking, though, so we'll be on Wolf Hill close to the track.

Can't wait!

I guess no one here is into motorcycle racing?

In the US, if it doesn't have 4 wheels and doesn't go around in circles, it doesn't matter.

Isn't that the truth... lol.

There were over 100,000 people at last years USGP, so I figured there had to be a few from here that would be going.

It was probably 100,000 foreigners that flew in for the race. :1orglaugh
