When you're making enough that you can afford to have some else do it you'll know. Hopefully they'll make you money and keep you out of trouble

I have an accountant do my taxes. I would never do my own taxes....I might get myself audited.

There are no taxes levied - so no need to prepare anything.

Tho... would use an accountant to audit corp figures, but only if others had funds invested in a corp.

I send quarterly estimates every quarter, then in March I go to H&R Block and they do the rest.

I used to go to an accountant but he got a little liberal with the deductions and I ended up getting audited by the IRS and it fucking sucked. That audit cost me $1,400 and the accountant didnt even show up to help me.
Now I go to H&R Block, nothing fancy but they do everything by the book, and I sleep good.

I hate to say this, but that is a very stupid thing to think. Because one of these days, they may land you in trouble.

The best thing to do, is to do them your self. If you decide to hire someone, make sure that you keep an eye on what they are doing.

Haven't filed taxes in yeeeeeeeeeeears (like 4 years).. but currently on the hunt for a CPA to sort my shit out this year.
