So how long do you expect the recovery to take? Will the plastic surgeons be able to do much with the hand on the second photo?

It's play at your own risk. The sad part is the kids that are attracted to them. I know at an early age I had more fire power than brains. We blew up models etc. Lucky for me, I didn't get hurt.
