i remember that i got an email from a Pakistani/Arab/whatever ISP that got shutdown because their clients were logging into my site back in 98 :eek7

Don't waste your time with someone not even licensed to practice law. He is not licensed for a reason. He could not, or did not, pass the required exam to practice law. That should tell you a lot. It is nothing against him personally, because he might be a nice guy, but no law license should be a red flag warning you to stay away.
