Stupid Domain Squatters
This is just getting stupid.
I just did a search for a domain, looking at like 80-100 of them, maybe 10 had something real on them, the rest were those stupid portal pages with a couple generic adds and a search field. like this site http://www.pinkstudios.com/ I thought there were rules on this shit. |
It depends on whether you're infringing a trademark, and whether it can be proven that that was your intent.
|
"Squatters" are trademark abusers.
"Domainers" are folks who own alot of generic/ non-trademarked domains. They are two different things. |
ah, ok i hate the stupid domainers then.
|
damn.. that's a good name too.. what a waste!
|
Try domains bot to help find available names. It not great but it's ok.

I'm pretty sure they're not stupid.
They just make so much money, they dont care. |
send em a nasty mail!
that'll learn em! |
Yeah that shit blows my mind as well. Then you e-mail them and ask them how much to buy it and they ask for $5k, no fucking way!!
|
yes, insult them, that will teach them a lesson

A+ Thread.

Calm down man. A lot of people having domain names that are in the pipeline to be developed.
Stupid? LOL. Waiting until you are ready to roll and then spending 3 weeks trying to find a domain you like is stupid. |
what's worse is searching for a domain, then deciding the next day to purchase it and some arse puncher has bought it and just redirected it to bs like pinkstudios.com
|
2hpWhat's squatting got to do with parked domain monetization? |
Yes this just happened to me. Went to register a domain name...got the .net but the .com got snatched by a bot.
No I'm waiting to hear how much the guy wants for it. :321GFY |
